| It is true that some people make a decent living off of their blogs thanks to ads that are displayed alongside their blog entries. You can incorporate advertisements into your own blog, in which case you make money each time someone visits your blog and clicks an ad. The Blogger blog service includes built-in support for Google AdSense, which is a great ad program for making money on ads placed on your pages. | Keep in mind that the fresher the content, the more likely people are to visit your blog. And if you're trying to make a few bucks off of your blog via ad revenue, you want to use everything at your disposal to keep people coming back. Having said all that, I recommend adding a new blog entry at least a couple of times a week. If you don't find it to be too much of a drain on your time, adding a new entry daily is even better. Some full-time bloggers are known to update their blogs numerous times a day, although at some point it becomes difficult to post quality content at too small an interval. |
