the most common examples. In this chapter, I'm going to show you how to write valid XHTML markup for these components and then style them with CSS. Along the way, we'll build a CSS library of components that you can use as a starting point for your pages. You'll be able to open the sample files, copy the markup into your XHTML, copy the styles into your style sheet, and then just fine-tune them for your particular needs. As you work with CSS, you will find yourself creating a library of your favorite component styles that you can copy into your project style sheets, thereby saving yourself hours of time rebuilding components you have already made.
